Reverse Proof Mexican Libertad Gold Coins were introduced in 2018, making them the third version of Mexican Libertad Gold Coins available to investors and collectors. The series is limited to 1 oz and 1/2 oz gold coins only, with mintage figures that are roughly in line with the standard Proof Mexican Libertad Gold Coins.

To date, the 2018 Reverse Proof Libertad remains the highest minted in the series at 1,000 coins. The lowest mintage, to date, is the 2020 coin with just 250 coins. Both the 2019 and these 2021 coins have mintage figures of 500 coins.
