History

The African Wildlife Series expanded significantly starting in 2016. Not only did these Somalia Gold Coins gain more fractional-ounce weights, but the silver series also gained larger weights between 1 oz and 1 Kilo, as well as its own fractional-ounce coins. The silver series also saw its purity enhanced from .999 to .9999 pure silver content, and a Somalia Elephant Platinum coin was also introduced.
