In the new Tokelau Terra Series, the Pressburg Mint calls attention to the changing global environment on planet Earth. With an inscription of ServaMe, Servabo Te on the reverse, the coins inscription reminds humanity in this Latin phrase Protect me, I will protect you that it is within humanitys capacity to change the course of events. Provident Metals now has 2021 Tokelau Terra 1 oz Silver Coins available to purchase online.
When you purchase 2021 Tokelau Terra 1 oz Silver Coin at Provident Metals, you receive the coins inside of individual protective plastic capsules. The series features both Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof-like options for buyers. These coins come with proof-like visuals that include frosted design elements overlaying mirrored background fields.
The obverse field of the 2021 Tokelau Terra 1 oz Silver Coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. While last years coin featured only the bust of Elizabeth II, this years design comes with a portrait of the Queen inside of a small, circular field. Rather than using a star to mark the location of Tokelau in the South Pacific, this years release comes with a GPS dot indicating the location of Tokelau. The inscriptions on this face read 5 Dollars, Elizabeth II, Tokelau, Terra 2021, and a set of GPS coordinates for Tokelau.
On the reverse side of 2021 Tokelau Terra Silver Coins is a depiction of the Atlantic Ocean. The continents of North America, South America, Africa, and Europe are visible in the design on this side of the coins. The most notable changes to the designs on this side of the coin include a new inscription of the change in temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit. This inscription shows that the average temperature on Earth in the 21st century has risen compared to 20th-century averages. The compass star at the bottom is also new this year. Inscriptions on this side include 1 oz Fine Silver 999, Serva Me, Servabo Te, and Terra 2021.
The Tokelau Terra Series comes with new background field lines. Last years release included traditional latitude and longitude lines creating intersecting square- or rhombus-shaped spaces. This years coin has diagonal lines that intersect to form triangular shapes instead.
