Walking Liberty bears the obverse of 2021-W Proof American Eagle Silver Type 2 Coins. This design that now features Weinmans signature initials displays Liberty striding toward the sunset draped in the American flag. Inscriptions on this field include LIBERTY, AW, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2021.
Reverse
The reverse of all 2021-W Proof Eagle 1 oz Silver Type 2 coins showcases the brand-new flying eagle image. This design, in the center field of the reverse, displays the bald eagle in mid-flight with an oak branch on its talons. History
Three different locations of the United States Mint have struck Proof American Eagle Silver Coins. They started at the San Francisco Mint from 1986-1992 before moving to Philadelphia from 1993-2000. The West Point Mint how handles the series and has been for over 20 years. San Francisco has resumed production on certain proofs though throughout the 2010s.
