Reverse

The design shows the eagle soaring through the design element with its wings flexed behind it and its talons clutching a large oak branch. Inscriptions on this face read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, ONE DOLLAR, and the W mint mark from West Point.

History

Emily Damstra is the design of the new reverse element. A member of the United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program, she has previously contributed designs in the US Mints America the Beautiful Series, as well as various collections at the Royal Canadian Mint.
