The eagle soars through the sky with its wings raised behind its figure as it clutches an oak branch in its talons. The inscriptions on this side include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and ONE DOLLAR.

History

Emily Damstras new design on the reverse of American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins was submitted through the Artistic Infusion Program at the US Mint. Her previous work includes designs for the ATB Series at the United States Mint, as well as the Canadian Wildlife and Birds of Prey Series at the Royal Canadian Mint.
