Obverse
On the obverse of 2022 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is a depiction of Lady Liberty. This design was created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and is known as Walking Liberty for its depiction of Liberty in left-profile relief walking toward the sun on the horizon. The field includes an American flag around Liberty and branches of oak and laurel in her left hand. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2022, and the AW signature mark of Weinman.
Reverse
The reverse face of the 2022 American Eagle Silver Coin comes with a vision of the American bald eagle in flight. In this design from Emily Damstra, the eagle descends into the field with its wings flexed and its talons clutching an oak branch. The inscriptions on this side read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
