History
Tutankhamun was an Egyptian Pharoah who ruled during the 18th Dynasty and died young. His life was not terribly remarkable, and it is believed that he suffered many physical ailments throughout it. And yet his coffin suggests otherwise, with its majestic layers and ornate golden mask turning King Tut into a household name. Today, the incredible 24-pound golden mask is on display at the Egyptian Museum.
