Obverse

For the obverse design of 2022 Armenian Noahs Ark 1 oz Silver Coins, the mint features the image of the national coat of arms. The Armenian seal consists of a quartered shield with heraldic eagles and lions in each of the four quadrants, and a smaller shield at the center of the design that depicts Noahs ark resting atop Mount Ararat. Inscriptions on this face of the coin read REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA, an inscription that is in both English and Armenian, as well as inscriptions of 1 OZ AG 999 and 500 DRAM 2022.

Reverse

In the reverse field of the 2022 Armenian Noahs Ark Silver Coin, Geiger Edelmetalle offers a depiction of Noahs ark. This design shows Noahs ark in the days after the rains have stopped and the sun has come out, but before the waters have subsided from the Earth. As it floats along, the sun rises over Mount Ararat in the background and a dove flies into the foreground. Inscriptions on this side include the English and Armenian of NOAHS ARK.
