Obverse

On the obverse of the 2022 Canadian Twin Maples Silver Coins is the fourth-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Shown in right-profile relief, this portrait was created by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt and was the final image of Her Majesty to appear on Canadian coins during her reign. The inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, D.G. REGINA, and 10 DOLLARS.

Reverse

The reverse of the 2022 Twin Maples 2 oz Silver Coin includes two sugar maple leaves sharing one stem. Over time, the maple leaf gained recognition across the country, from its use on World War I military badges to its role on the Canadian flag, which was officially adopted on February 15, 1965. History
