Obverse
On the obverse side of 2022 Colorized Australian Chinese Myths and Legends Phoenix Silver Coins is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This 5th Generation design is credited to Jody Clark, who produced it for the Royal Mint in 2015. Inscriptions on the obverse read ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, 1 OZ .9999 AG, 2022, 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2022 Colorized Australian Phoenix 1 oz Silver Coin features a phoenix design in full color. This majestic bird has fiery plumage and outstretched wings as it flies through the clouds. In its mouth, youll see a flower of the paulownia, the only tree on which a phoenix will perch. Inscriptions on the reverse include the mintmark P, for Perth, and LB for the designer Lucas Bowers.
History
From a distance, the phoenix may look like a typical bird, but when examined closely youll quickly realize theres nothing quite like it. Some say these birds have the face of a swallow, the neck of a snake, and the tail of fish. They also have remarkable and beautiful scarlet plumage, which lends the feathers a flame-like quality. This depiction is likely associated with the fact that in certain cultures, the phoenix catches afire, burns, and is then resurrected from its ashes.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
