History
The Native America the Beautiful Series debuted in 2022 and serves as a response to the America the Beautiful Series struck at the US Mint from 2010 until 2021. The ATB series focused on an important landmark or National Park in each US state. The NATB series follows a similar pattern except that with each state, a Native American tribe and reference is featured. For this Washington release, rather than depicting Olympic National Park like the original ATB release, the mint has focused on the Hoh tribe that occupies land just west of the park.
