History
Once James Bond hit the big screen, audiences around the world began to associate the actors who portrayed Bond with the character. After skipping the sixth Bond film, Connery returned in 1971 to portray the secret agent once again in the seventh film. Connery is tied with Roger Moore for the most times in the role at seven. In addition to appearing in the first five and six of the first seven, Connery is the only Bond from Eon Productions films to feature in a non-Eon Productions film, playing Bond a seventh time in Never Say Never Again in 1983. With that appearance, Connery took on the role seven times across three decades.
