Obverse
The obverse of the 2022 Proof Australian Koala Gold Coin comes with an image of Queen Elizabeth II. In this design, Her Majesty is shown in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. The Queen is shown here at the age of 89 years old in this design from Jody Clark. Designed in 205 to serve as the fifth-generation effigy on British coins, this image debuted on Australian coins in 2018 as the sixth-generation design for Australian coinage. Inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, and 100 DOLLARS.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 2022 Proof Koala 1 oz Gold Coins, you will find a depiction of a koala. This design shows the famed marsupial lounging along the branch of a tree.
