The obverse of 2022 Proof Australian Lunar Tiger Silver Coins depicts Queen Elizabeth II. In this right-profile design, Her Majesty is featured at the age of 89 with the George IV State Diadem Crown on her head. The design is the sixth-generation effigy for Australian coins and the first since 1966 to include her shoulders within the portrait field. Inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, 1 OZ 9999 AG, and 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 2022 Proof Australian Lunar Tiger 1 oz Silver Coin is an image of two tigers. The design includes an adult tiger leading its young cub through the rocky terrain in a jungle. There is foliage in the background field, including stalks of bamboo. While the young cub seems playful and confident, the adult tiger is on point and watching out for any potential threats. Inscriptions include the Chinese symbol for a tiger and TIGER 2022.

The Proof Australian Lunar Tiger 1 oz Silver Coin has a total mintage of 7,500 coins. However, only 5,000 of those coins are devoted to release with the individual packaging available in this listing. The remaining 2,500 coins are devoted to the three-coin set and other issues from the mint.
