Gracing the obverse of 2022 Proof British Gothic Crown Portrait Silver Coins is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The fifth official coin portrait of the Queen since her coronation in 1953, this effigy was created by engraver Jody Clark in 2015. History
During his storied career, William Wyon produced many timeless designs, including the Gothic Crown portrait of Queen Victoria in 1847. In honor of this coin, The East India Company has issued two designs with remastered versions of the original Gothic Crown. The first depicts William Dyces iconic quartered arms reverse, and the second William Wyons celebrated Queen Victoria portrait. These coins are available in both gold and silver with a variety of weights for each.
