Obverse
For the obverse of the 2022 Proof Colorized Niue Disney 101 Dalmatians Love Silver Coin, one of the most well-known designs is featured. This is none other than the image of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, cementing the legal tender status of the coin. She is depicted in a right-profile portrait with a radiant crown famously referred to as “Girls of Great Britain and Ireland” diamond tiara. It was a wedding gift from Queen Mary (Her Majesty’s grandmother) in 1947. It has only been ever featured in two other designs. This image is referred to as the Fourth Portrait. Inscriptions include ELIZABETH, NIUE, 2022, 2 DOLLARS, and 1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER.
Reverse
For the reverse of the 2022 Proof Colorized Niue Disney 101 Dalmatians Love Coin, an image from the movie is engraved. It depicts the wedding of two dalmatians who look at each other lovingly. In the background, their human owners are also tying the knot with a priest. This is a scene right out of the 1961 film.
