History

The folklore phenomenon of “ufology” is about belief in the real-life existence of the kinds of aliens that science fiction has speculated about for decades, and has been a major presence in the landscape of modern myth for decades, especially ever since a mysterious crash near the town of Roswell in 1947 give rise to a whole subculture of dedicated believers.
