Introduced in 1996, the Mexican Libertad 2 oz Silver Coin is available in both BU and proof options. The highest mintage recorded in the 2 oz weight came in 2009 when 6,200 coins were sold. Conversely, the lowest mintage in the series came in 1999 when only 280 coins were sold.
