Obverse
The coin’s obverse side carries a profile effigy of Queen Elizabeth II to confirm it as legal tender of Niue, surrounded by the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “NIUE,” “25 DOLLARS” and “2022.”
Reverse
The Flash sports a modern, post-“Silver Age” look as he poses heroically on the coin’s reverse side along with his lightning-bolt sigil, along with inscriptions at the coin’s rim to verify the purity and weight of the gold, and the copyright and trademark of DC.
History
The Flash has been through many incarnations since he was first created by cartoonist Harry Lampert in 1940. His first reinvention came with a new secret identity as Barry Allen, a forensic scientist who gained superhuman speed after he was struck by lightning. Helping the superhero genre to storm back from its first historic sales slump in 1956, it was the Barry Allen Flash of the so-called “Silver Age” who defined the character’s modern look and logo and who became the best-known and most frequently-revisited version of the hero. Fittingly, that’s the version that was chosen to decorate this extraordinary collectible.

Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
