Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse side of 2022 Proof Royal Australian Mint Year of the Tiger Domed Gold Coins. This is the sixth-generation effigy of Elizabeth II to feature on Australian coins and comes from Jody Clark. Designed in 2015, it shows the Queen in right-profile relief at the age of 89 with the George IV State Diadem Crown. The field includes a ring of 12 animals around the design element, with the tiger at the 12-oclock position above the portrait of the Queen. The inscriptions include ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, 2022, and 100 DOLLARS.
Reverse
A tiger is depicted on the prowl in the jungle on the reverse side of 2022 Proof RAM Year of the Tiger Domed 1 oz Gold Coins. This design shows the tiger stepping over a small branch with its large paws helping it quietly stalk its prey through the jungle. The inscriptions include the Chinese symbol for the tiger, as well as YEAR OF THE TIGER and 1 OZ .9999 AU.
