History
In 1924, Sir Thomas Brock completed work on the magnificent sculpture known as the Victoria Memorial. This artistic masterpiece commemorates Queen Victoria by featuring the female personifications of her greatest virtues. At the top of the statue, we see the Winged Angel of Victory, with Courage and Constancy sitting at her feet. Beneath these three statues, we see the representations of Justice, Truth, and Charity, as well as a statue of Queen Victoria on her throne.
