Obverse
On the obverse of 2022 Reverse Proof Mexican Libertad 1 oz Gold Coins is a depiction of the Mexican coat of arms. This design shows a golden eagle in left-profile relief with raised wings. The eagle is perched on a prickly pear cactus and is using its beak and talons to control a snake. Around the design field, you will find 10 historic versions of the national seal. Within the central field, you will notice an inscription of ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS and a wreath of oak and laurel.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2022 Reverse Proof Libertad 1 oz Gold Coin comes with an image of Winged Victory. This design captures the statuesque representation of Winged Victory with a laurel wreath in her right hand and a set of broken chains in her left. Inscriptions on this side of the coin read 1 ONZA, ORO PURO, 2022 LEY .999, and the OM mint mark of the Mexican Mint.
History
The rollout of Mexican Libertad Gold Coins is a complex one. The BU version of the coins started in 1981, but didnt become an annual release with all five weights until 2002. The Proof version also features five weights, with one issued in 1989, another in 2004, and all five as of 2005. The Reverse Proof comes with only 1 oz and 1/2 oz gold coins, and the series has only been available since 2018.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
