There are also two visible inscriptions shown above the ship, which read: U.S. COAST GUARD and SEMPER PARATUS, which means Always Ready.
Multiple iconic Coast Guard symbols are shown on the reverse of the 2022 U.S. Coast Guard 1 oz Silver Medal, including a life preserver ring and a racing stripe.
