Within the American Eagle Gold Series, the United States Mint offers an investment-grade coin and two collectible choices for precious metals buyers. The Proof American Eagle Gold Coin is the older of the two collectible coins and has been around since the series started in 1986. Provident Metals currently offers near-perfect 2022-W Proof American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coins to you for purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase one of these 2022-W Proof American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coins online at Provident Metals, you will receive a certified near-perfect coin. These PR69 coins showcase full, original mint luster with no more than two minor flaws present. These flaws are limited to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and must be outside the primary focal points of the coins design field.
Obverse
The obverse side of 2022 Proof American Eagle Gold Coins comes with a depiction of Lady Liberty. Created in 1907, this design shows Libertys full-length figure in front-facing relief as she walks toward you. She holds up a torch to light her way and carries an olive branch in her other hand. Sun rays silhouette her figure as the U.S. Capitol Building is visible at her feet. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, 2022, and the W mint mark of the West Point Mint.
Reverse
On the reverse field of 2022-W Proof American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coins, you will find the latest effigy of the bald eagle. Redesigned in 2021, this new image from Jennie Norris shows the bald eagles head in left-profile relief. Inscriptions on this side read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1/10 OZ. FINE GOLD 5 DOLLARS.
History
