Those inscriptions include LIBERTY, 2022, and the W mint mark of the West Point Mint.

Reverse

This depiction of the head of the eagle in left-profile relief is accompanied by inscriptions of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1/2 OZ. FINE GOLD, and 25 DOLLARS.

History

The new design that debuted on the reverse of American Eagle Gold Coins in mid-2021 comes from Jennie Norris. A member of the United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program, Ms. Norris made her first major contribution to American coinage with this design.
