American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Coins hold the single-year record for mintage among the BU American Eagle Gold Coins. The 1999 release sold more than 2.75 million coins in this weight, a figure that is more than 1 million coins higher than the next closest date mark, a 1 oz Gold Eagle.
