History
Kit Walker, also known as The Phantom, was introduced to audiences on February 17, 1936. The character was created by Lee Falk, who continued to work on the comic strip until his passing in 1999. The story of The Phantom dates back to 1536, when a sailor named Christopher Walker was killed by pirates. Swearing to avenge their fathers death by fighting against evil, the family of crime-fighters known as The Phantom was born. In the present day, Kit Walker is considered the 21st Phantom in the family line.
