The Armenian Noahs Ark Series from Geiger Edelmetalle and the Armenian Central Bank offers gold options alongside its original silver coins. In 2011, the Armenian Noahs Ark Series made its debut with silver bullion options. The first year of availability featured three silver weights: 1 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1/4 oz. In 2012, it expanded to include weights of 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 Kilo, and 5 Kilo silver. It was another eight years until the gold bullion coins were introduced.
Obverse
On the obverse of 2023 Noahs Ark 1 Gram Gold Coins, you will find the Armenian coat of arms. This design shows a quartered shield that is supported on either side by a heraldic eagle and a heraldic lion. There is a small crest at the center with the image of Noahs Ark at the top of Mount Ararat. Inscriptions include REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA, 100 DRAM, 2023, and 1 G AU 999,9.
Reverse
The reverse field of the 2023 Armenian Noahs Ark Gold Coin comes with the depiction of the ark. Created in 2011, the design shows the ark floating on the floodwaters as the sun rises over Mount Ararat in the background and a dove flies into the field in the foreground. The inscription on this side reads NOAHS ARK.
History
In 2017, Geiger introduced a one-time issue of Proof Armenian Noahs Ark Gold Coins with 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1 Gram weights. These same four weights are now available, as of 2020, as BU gold coins.

2023 Armenian Noahs Ark 1 Gram Gold Coins are available to you for purchase in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are housed in sealed security capsules with a Certificate of Authenticity.
