The Austrian Philharmonic 1/25 oz Gold Coin was first introduced in 2014 by the Austrian Mint to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series. The coins were so popular, the Austrian Mint left this weight in production each year. Its largest mintage to date came in 2020 during a surge in demand, resulting in 119,230 coins sold.
