History
First introduced in 1987, the British Britannia Gold Series has been a mainstay of the Royal Mint’s offerings. Initially minted in .9167 gold, the series saw an upgrade to .9999 fine gold in 2013. Throughout its history, the series has featured three different portraits of Queen Elizabeth II. Now, for the first time, it proudly displays the effigy of King Charles III.
