Obverse
In the obverse design of the 2023 British Britannia Silver Coin, you will find the new portrait of King Charles III. His Majesty is shown here in left-profile relief without a crown on his head. This design was created by Martin Jennings. Inscriptions on this side read 2 POUNDS, CHARLES III, and D.G. REX. F.D.
Reverse
For the reverse design of 2023 Britannia 1 oz Silver Coins, you will notice Philip Nathans iconic image of Britannia. This powerful image of the female allegory captures her figure on the coast with a trident in one hand and a Union Jack shield in the other. Inscriptions on this side include BRITANNIA, 2023, 1 OZ, 999 FINE, and SILVER.
History
Following the passing of the Queen, the Royal Mint issued its early batches of 2023 Britannias with Jody Clarks portrait of Queen Elizabeth II for a final time. Now, the time has come for 2023 Britannias featuring King Charles III on the obverse.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order.
