History
The Worlds Wildlife Series is issued by the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A favorite among collectors, the series is devoted to the most spectacular creatures of the land, sea, and air. The series launched in 2019 with the giraffe and was followed by the whale. Next up in 2021 and 2022 were the bald eagle and the bear. In addition to the standard silver edition, there are also colorized and gilded versions available. The mint also offers each design in gold in weights of 1 oz and 1/2 gram.
