First revived in 2021, the Morgan Silver Dollar continues to honor a legacy that dates back to the late 1800s. These coins are offered in varied conditions, meaning some may appear nearly uncirculated while others could display noticeable signs of handling or age. We do not sort by condition and will select each coin at random during order processing. If you order multiple coins, expect to receive a mix of different conditions.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2023 Morgan Dollar Coin features Lady Liberty in left-profile relief. Her image includes a Phrygian cap, a coronet inscribed with Liberty, and a laurel wreathsymbols representing liberty and honor. Inscriptions include E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and 2023.
Reverse
The reverse side of 2023 Morgan Dollar Silver Coins showcases Morgans heraldic eagle artwork, with the eagles wings spread wide. The eagle holds arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other, symbolizing readiness and peace. This version does not feature a national shield, offering a simpler look at this timeless image. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR.
History
The Morgan Dollar Silver Coin was first issued in 1876 as a replacement for the Seated Liberty Dollar and marked the return of silver dollar production in the United States. Minted from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921, the coin is named for George T. Morgan, its designer. Morgan joined the US Mint as an engraver in 1878 and later became Chief Engraver in 1917, serving until 1925.

Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
