Obverse

The Public Seal of Niue graces the obverse side of 2023 Niue Vivat Humanitas Silver Coins. The seal is featured in the center of the coin displaying a crown as well as a 14-seashell garland. Inscriptions include NIUE 2023, PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE, ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI, 2 DOLLARS.

Reverse

In the reverse design of the 2023 Vivat Humanitas 1 oz Silver Coin, you will find a depiction of a traditional Greek column with an eye in the center of the column. The background features two separate images that honor the creation of democracy. Left of the column, you will find a rendition of the ancient Greek parliament, while on the right you will see the Acropolis. Inscriptions on the reverse side are , VIVAT HUMANITAS, 1 OZ FINE SILVER 9999.

History

The fourth installment of the Vivat Humanitas Series has four bullion coins in total. This is the third consecutive year that Pressburg Mint has released four variations with two coming in silver and two being in gold.
