In 2021, the United States Mint revived its final two historic silver dollar designs through a new bullion coin program. The Morgan Dollar and Peace Dollar immediately drew attention from collectors, prompting the Mint to continue their production in 2023 with new San Francisco proof releases. Obverse
The obverse of the 2023 Peace Dollar Coin includes Anthony de Franciscis graceful image of Lady Liberty. Her left-profile portrait shows Liberty wearing a radiant crown, with flowing hair that represents freedom and optimism. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and 2023.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2023 Peace Dollar Silver Coin, a bald eagle is seen resting on a rock, holding an olive branch in its talons. Behind the eagle, the rising sun adds a symbol of the nations ongoing desire for peace and renewal. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE. If a mint mark is present, it will feature on this side of the coin.
History
Originally introduced in 1921, the Peace Silver Dollar marked a change in design and served as the final series of circulating silver dollars. Struck from 1921 to 1928 and again between 1934 and 1935, it was the last 90% silver dollar issued by the United States. To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the Mint brought back both the Morgan and Peace Dollar designs in 2021.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
