The Chinese lunar New Year is one of the most widely celebrated holidays in the world, celebrated by a quarter of the global populace: more than two billion people. One of the countries that celebrates it as an official holiday is Singapore, which pays tribute to each of the symbols of the associated Chinese zodiac with a series of pure silver collectibles, starting with the Year of the Rabbit. The 2023 Proof Colorized Singapore Year of the Rabbit Silver Coin sports a shaped design and a brilliant proof-quality finish. It ships tracked and fully insured in a custom-designed red box that evokes the lucky tradition of exchanging red envelopes for the New Year, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Obverse
The obverse side of the coin features Singapore’s coat of arms. It’s surrounded by inscriptions of the country’s name in four languages, along with an inscription of the year “2023.”
Reverse
The reverse side of the coin features a colorized Rabbit at play in a park setting not unlike the many beautiful parks that Singapore is known for. This is accompanied by the inscriptions “1 TROY OZ 999 FINE SILVER” and “$5.”
History
The Year of the Rabbit is associated with expansive and open personalities known for their devotion to justice and for bringing positive energy to their interactions with others. Many celebrities have been born under this sign throughout history: among them master martial artist Jet Li, basketball titan Michael Jordan, legendary genius Albert Einstein, and the renowned Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
