History
Timothy Dalton was the fourth actor to play James Bond, following Sean Connery, George Lazenby, and Roger Moore. Dalton modified the character of Bond significantly when he took over from Moore in 1987 with The Living Daylights. While Moores version of 007 was playful and comical, Dalton took the character in a darker, more complex direction. This more serious interpretation of the 007 character would then continue in 2006, when Daniel Craig took over the iconic role.
