History
The Native America the Beautiful Series began in 2022 and thus far has featured 12 out of 50 states. The series is considered a response to the America the Beautiful Series by the US Mint, which ran from 2010-2021. That popular series focused exclusively on important landmarks, sites, and parks in each state. In contrast, this collection from the Native American Mint centers on an indigenous tribe that occupied those areas or a nearby region.
