Obverse

Reverse
On the reverse of the 2023-S Proof Peace Dollar, a bald eagle rests on a rock ledge while holding an olive branch. The rising sun in the background symbolizes peace and new beginnings. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, PEACE, and the S mint mark.
History
The Peace Silver Dollar made its debut in 1921, representing a fresh approach to silver dollar design and signaling the end of the denominations long production history. Struck from 1921 through 1928 and again in 1934 and 1935, the Peace Dollar closed the era of 90% silver coinage in US dollars. In 2021, the Mint celebrated its 100th anniversary by bringing back the Peace and Morgan Dollars for a new generation of collectors.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
