Each of the three pieces in the 2023 Proof Singapore Year of the Rabbit Silver Coin Set features a shaped design and a proof-quality finish with brilliant mirrored backgrounds. The set ships in a custom-designed case with red lining, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The coins in the set include a 1 oz proof, 1 oz colorized proof, and a 1/4 oz proof.

Obverse & Reverse

The coins in this set have obverse sides featuring Singapore’s coat of arms, along with inscriptions of the country’s name in four different languages and the year “2023.” The reverse sides feature a Rabbit — fully colorized on the second two coins — with Singapore’s East Coast Park in the background, accompanied by inscriptions of the face value and silver contents.

History

The Singapore Fourth Chinese Almanac Coin Series began in 2017, and each release in the series has celebrated a sign of the Chinese zodiac along with a major Singaporean landmark. Some previously featured landmarks have included the Singapore Botanic Gardens in the Year of the Dog, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve in the Year of the Rat, and the Haw Par Villa cultural park in the Year of the Tiger. As part of the seventh release in the series, this coin set celebrating the Year of the Rabbit features East Coast Park, one of Singapore’s most popular urban getaway spots for families.
