History

Referenced numerous times in the works of Homer and Hesiod, Eos is recognized as the goddess of dawn in the world of Greek myth. She also was known for having many lovers, which was a result of a spell delivered by Aphrodite that cursed her with a sense of unceasing desire. Some of the notable romantic interests of Eos included Tithonos, Orion, Phaethon, and Cephalus. Eos also had a well-known family that included the Helios, Serene, and the Titans Theia and Hyperion.
