2023 Royal Australian Mint Humpback Whale Gold Coins feature the final depiction of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse field. This design was created by Jody Clark, the youngest to design an image of the Queen, as his depiction was anonymously selected. This right-profile relief of Her Majesty shows her donning the Royal Diadem crown. Identifying marks of the coin surround this image. Reverse
The reverse of 2023 Humpback Whale 1 oz Gold Coins features a trio of Humpback Whales swimming in the ocean with another adult Humpback Whale breaching the oceans surface. The top half also features nine cloud formations along with a few identifying marks of the coin. These marks include HUMPBACK WHALE, AWB, and 1 OZ .9999 GOLD.
