Highlights:
Each coin in this listing has earned an MS70 grade from PCGS. This means the coin shows full mint brilliance and no visible flaws, even when examined under 5x magnification. It represents a top-quality certified example of the issue.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2023 (W) American Silver Eagle features the timeless Walking Liberty design. Liberty is shown striding toward the rising sun, wrapped in the American flag. The olive branches she carries symbolize peace and reflect enduring national ideals. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2023.
Reverse
On the reverse of the 2023 (W) 1 oz Silver Eagle is the updated eagle design introduced in 2021. Designed by Emily Damstra, it portrays an American bald eagle in flight carrying an oak branch. The image provides a realistic look at the nations iconic bird and represents strength and stability. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
The 2023 American Silver Eagle offered here was struck at the West Point Mint as a BU release. Although there is no mint mark on the coin itself, the West Point Label within the slab confirms its production at this facility.
