Obverse
The obverse side of 2023 Proof American Eagle Gold Coins comes with a front-facing effigy of Lady Liberty. This visual shows the bald eagles head in left-profile relief with incredible levels of detail in the design. The 2023 release of Proof American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins includes a total of 22,500 coins. However, just 9,500 of those coins are offered by the US Mint inside these presentation boxes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
