Obverse
The obverse of the 2024 Colorized Australian Chinese Myths and Legends Hong Four Guardian Silver Coin features King Charles III in a left-facing portrait. This is the first time an Australian coin has depicted King Charles III, shown without a crown in a simple, refined design created by Dan Thorne in 2024. The inscriptions include CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 1 OZ 9999 AG, and 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
On the reverse of 2024 Colorized Chinese Myths and Legends Hong Four Guardian 1 oz Silver Coins, youll see the Four Guardians from Chinese mythology, each positioned according to its cardinal direction. The turtle takes the central spot, with the tiger on the left, the dragon below, and the phoenix above. A snake is also depicted beside the turtle. Each guardian is colorized, bringing the legends to life. The P125 mint mark commemorates 125 years of the Perth Mint. Inscriptions include P125 and 2024.
History
One of the guardians, the White Tiger, represents autumn and the metal element. Known as a symbol of strength and protection, the White Tiger is seen as the king of all beasts in Chinese culture. Its powerful presence was believed to calm troubled lands and ward off evil spirits, making it a significant figure in mythology, especially for military leaders and warriors.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
