Obverse
On the obverse of the 2024 Mexican Libertad 1/4 oz Coin is Mexico’s formal coat of arms emblem. It depicts a bold golden eagle clutching a snake in its talons and beak as it stands defensively atop a prickly pear cactus. Inscriptions read ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.
Reverse
The reverse of this 2024 Mexican Libertad Gold Coin hosts one of the most iconic designs in numismatics Winged Victory. This allegory shows the angel of Victory in left-side portrait relief, wings extended with two volcanoes forming the background. Inscriptions read 1/4 ONZA, ORO PURO, and 2024 LEY .999.
History
The Mexican Libertad Gold Series launched in 1981 with 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1 oz weights. It went on hiatus before resuming again in 1991 with 1/10 oz and 1/20 oz sizes added to the lineup. From 1991-1994, 2000, and every year since 2002, all five weight variants have been annually released with the exception of 2012.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
