The modern Morgan Silver Dollar is a tribute to its historic predecessor. In 2021, the United States Mint introduced the bullion Morgan Dollar to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the last Morgan Dollar struck for circulation in 1921. Each 2024 Morgan Dollar Silver Coin available here is in Mint State 70 condition, meaning they are flawless with full, original mint luster. The Early Release designation indicates these coins were received for grading within 30 days of their release by the mint.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2024 Morgan Dollar Coin features George T. Morgans original bust of Liberty. This left-profile image shows Liberty with a coronet crown and laurel wreath in her hair, with a Phrygian cap at the back of her head. The inscriptions include E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and 2024.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 2024 Morgan Dollar Silver Coins, youll find another design by Morgan. This design depicts a bald eagle in a front-facing pose with its wings spread wide. The eagles talons clutch the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR.
History
Morgan Silver Dollars were last minted in 1921 when the US Mint resumed silver dollar production. The previous Morgan Dollar was struck in 1904, with no production during the 1910s and World War I. After the war, the decision was made to restart silver dollar coining with a new design. Until that design was ready, the mint resumed with the Morgan Dollar design from January to mid-December 1921.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
