The Morgan Silver Dollar is one of the most beloved coins in US Mint history. Introduced in 1878 as the second major silver dollar design, it was produced annually until 1904 and then again in 1921. In 2021, to celebrate 100 years since its last issue, the US Mint released a modern bullion version made of .999 pure silver. Currently, the 2024 Morgan Dollar Silver Coins are available in perfect condition at Provident Metals.

The First Day of Issue label means they were received by PCGS for grading within 24 hours of their release by the US Mint.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2024 Morgan Dollar Coins features Lady Liberty, designed by George T. Morgan. This left-profile design depicts Liberty in a Greco-Roman style, wearing a Phrygian cap, a coronet crown, and a laurel wreath. Inscriptions include E PLURIBUS UNUM, LIBERTY, and 2024.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2024 Morgan Dollar Silver Coin showcases Morgans heraldic eagle. This design shows an American bald eagle with its wings spread wide, holding arrows and an olive branch, symbolizing both war and peace. The inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR.
History
The Morgan Dollar has a rich history. Its introduction in 1878 marked the return of silver dollar minting after a five-year break following the end of the Seated Liberty Dollar series in 1873. The Morgan was minted yearly from 1878 to 1904 and once more in 1921 before being replaced.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
