The obverse of the 2024-W Burnished American Eagle Silver Coin features Adolph A. Weinmans famous image of Lady Liberty. Called Walking Liberty, she is shown in left-profile with the American flag draped around her figure. The sun rises over a mountain peak in the background. Inscriptions read LIBERTY, 2024, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the signature mark of Weinman.

The reverse of the 2024-W Burnished Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin displays a design by Emily Damstra, introduced in 2020. This new image of the American bald eagle debuted on the coins in 2021 for the series’ 35th anniversary. The inscriptions here read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.

The Burnished Silver Eagle was introduced in 2006 to mark the 20th anniversary of the American Eagle Series. Alongside its gold counterpart, it was produced from 2006 to 2008, paused in 2009 and 2010, and resumed in 2011.
